This client is a large steel coil manufacturer in Karachi, and they have encountered difficulties in transporting materials during the production process. In the processing, storage, and loading areas, raw materials such as steel and steel coils have been manually transported, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive, posing safety hazards. They had been using diesel handcarts before this, but due to environmental issues, the carts were prone to malfunctions. So they need a better solution to establish an internal logistics chain for handling 5-6 tons of goods within the factory,Sinokocranes designed the Electric Transfer Cart for the customers.
Sinoko 6 Ton Electric Transfer Cart: Key Features
Sinoko's solution was a fleet of custom-engineered 6-ton capacity electric transfer carts, designed and built to withstand the demanding conditions of a steel mill. Key features included:
High load-bearing capacity: The vehicle body adopts a heavy-duty steel structure frame, which can carry customers' 6 tons of steel coil materials for a long time, ensuring the durability of Electric Transfer Cars.
Diverse power configurations: Electric Transfer Cars are equipped with a 380V/50Hz/three-phase AC direct rail power supply device, which can be plugged in and operated in high usage areas. They are also equipped with battery power supply, suitable for trackless areas, ensuring no interruption during operation.
Accuracy and safety: Equipped with a variable frequency drive for smooth acceleration and deceleration, preventing load and ensuring the accuracy of the Electric Transfer Cart. It is also equipped with an emergency stop button, collision sensor, and sound and light alarm to ensure safe operation.
Suitable for harsh environments: Component materials are selected and sealed to resist dust and high temperature environments in steel plants, ensuring minimal maintenance costs.
Customized structure: Electric Transfer Cars are designed with low profile, spark free surfaces, suitable for metal to metal contact, and can be remotely controlled or wired, ensuring the safety and convenience of operators.
Implementation
Sinoko develops an installation plan that minimizes any impact on the customer's production process:
• Phase 1: Sinoko engineers conducted on-site surveys, drew transportation route maps, determined power supply locations, and ultimately determined suitable specifications based on the specific layout and load requirements of the factory.
• Phase 2: Manufacturing Electric Transfer Carts according to specifications, testing each one at the Sinoko factory to ensure that all performance indicators meet customer requirements before shipment.
• Phase 3: Electric Transfer Cart is transported to the customer's factory. Sinoko's technical team supervised the entire installation process and conducted further testing on site.
• Phase 4: Provide comprehensive operation and basic maintenance training for customer operators.
